Eternal Ambition: The Rise of Brencis in Ancient Rome
Jan-22-2025

The story progresses by introducing an original viewpoint on the world of vampires, taking us back to the time of Ancient Rome. While most envision these beings in fog-laden European castles of the 18th century, The Blood of Dawnwalker reveals a different era where vampires thrived amidst the grandeur of the Roman Empire.
This engaging tale centers around Brencis, a distinctive character introduced in the game. He is depicted as a bald, armored vampire featured prominently in the trailer, who seemingly bestows his vampiric essence upon Coen's sister, possibly initiating her transformation into one of his kind.
Brencis, originally known as Caeso Burrienus Laurentius, entered the world in AD 131. Born into a prosperous family, he was afforded every privilege from the start, which facilitated his ascent through the political ranks of Rome. His aspirations were lofty, aiming for the esteemed position of consul, but fate had other plans as he became a vampire.
Even after enduring centuries as an immortal, Brencis's ambition continues to burn brightly. He is now focused on exerting control over a modest mountainous region in Europe. While his goals have scaled down, this new venture seems to promise a more favorable balance between his personal and professional life.
